Judging the '67 BB 435hp black/red convertible

Flight 2007, our first official Dutch NCRS judging event was all about judging Andre's 1967 big block 427ci 435hp black red convertible. This shot pictures Jack Jansen in action while judging the mechanical section.

Exterior judging

Also the exterior of the car is inspected carefully on originality and condition... Here Twan Baars and Clemens Metternich in action!

Glass window dating

No detail so insignificant or it will be checked and judged taking in account its configuration, attachment, date, numbers and finishing.

Window Sticker

Here a reproduction of the window sticker as attached to the car back when it was on display in the dealer show room.

Checking bolts

Here is Clemens checking the headmarkings on the front bumper attachment bolts.

Interior

Also the interior was inspected extensively. Just on some very minor areas short comings were detected.

Engine compartment

The engine compartment was also spectacular!!! All look ever so neatly restored!!! All and all, a fantastic car!

Operations check

Also the functioning of all the components of the car were carefully inspected. Just one short coming could be found: one of the horn failed during its test.
